Role Summary
The school invites applications for the position of TGT Chemistry to deliver high-quality instruction in Chemistry to students in Grades 6–10. The selected candidate will foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages scientific inquiry, conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The role requires a commitment to continuous professional development and active participation in school activities beyond classroom teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for Grades 6–10 using the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks.
Prepare weekly lesson plans, worksheets, practical experiments and assessment tools in accordance with school academic calendar.
Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback.
Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, marks and anecdotal observations.
Organise and supervise Chemistry laboratory sessions, ensuring safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
Collaborate with the Science department to design interdisciplinary projects and integrate ICT tools in teaching.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings and professional development workshops.
Contribute to co-curricular activities such as Science exhibitions, Olympiads and inter-house competitions.
Uphold the school’s values, discipline policies and safety protocols.

Lecture-demonstration with emphasis on concept mapping and visual aids.

Qualifications & Experience
Post-graduate degree in Chemistry or MSc Chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Science or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Chemistry at the secondary level.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum, NCERT textbooks and assessment patterns.
Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of Hindi is desirable but not mandatory.
Salary and Compensation
Gross monthly salary: ₹45,000 – ₹55,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
