The NTT Mathematics Teacher will create playful, activity-based lessons for nursery and kindergarten students. Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and conduct 3–4 math sessions daily using songs, blocks, puzzles, and movement.
2. Introduce numbers, shapes, patterns, and simple measurements through games.
3. Observe each child’s counting and sorting skills during group play.
4. Prepare low-cost teaching aids like flash cards, number lines, and sorting trays.
5. Lead circle-time math rhymes and finger plays for 15–20 minutes.
6. Document daily observations in simple checklists for parents and coordinators.
7. Organize math corners with manipulatives for free exploration.
8. Participate in monthly teacher meetings at Modern Public School to share ideas.
9. Assist during school events by setting up math-themed activity stalls.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or related field
- 3 years of experience teaching mathematics to nursery or kindergarten
- Fluency in English and Hindi for classroom communication
- Experience with playful, activity-based early math methods
- Ability to work in Kanjhawala’s local environment
Good to Have
- D.El.Ed or B.Ed with specialization in early childhood education
- Any state TET or CTET score for primary level
- Prior work in Delhi-NCR preschools or day cares
- Familiarity with Montessori or play-way approaches
- NET/SET or M.Ed with math pedagogy focus
