- Engage with parents, discussing student progress, and providing guidance on academic planning
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote academic excellence, sports, and co-curricular activities
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources
- Represent the school in educational conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on best practices in Economics education
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics or a related field (M.A. or M.Sc.)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Economics at senior secondary level
- NET or SET in Economics is preferred
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, academic planning, and assessment strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
