Sukriti World School, a leading educational institution in Rohini, North West Delhi, invites applications for the position of PGT Geography Teacher Job in North West Delhi. We are looking for an experienced Geography Teacher to join our faculty and contribute to the academic excellence of our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Geography Teacher at Sukriti World School, you will be responsible for:
* Teaching Geography to students of classes XI and XII, and providing individual attention and guidance to meet the diverse needs of students
* Preparing and delivering lectures, conducting classes, and administering tests and exams
* Developing and implementing engaging and interactive lesson plans to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Conducting board exam coaching to help students achieve high scores and excel in their academic pursuits
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives and projects
* Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of school policies and procedures
* Supervising and guiding student activities and extracurricular events related to Geography
* Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and understanding
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field
* A B.Ed. degree or its equivalent
* At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
* TET or CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory
* Strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of Geography curriculum and assessment
