About This Role
Yuvashakti Model School is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Geography to teach senior secondary classes in our school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography to students of classes XI and XII, preparing them for the CBSE board exams, and mentoring junior teachers.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Geography to classes XI and XII, following the CBSE curriculum and board exam requirements.
2. Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and exams for Geography classes.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
4. Provide individualized attention and guidance to students who require extra support.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement comprehensive academic plans.
6. Participate in school activities, events, and parent-teacher meetings.
7. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field and a B.Ed. or equivalent qualification. You should have at least 3 years of experience in teaching Geography in a senior secondary school. CTET or TET certification is not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Benefits
