About This Role
Sukriti World School, a leading educational institution in Rohini, North West Delhi, invites applications for the post of PGT Music Teacher. We seek an experienced Music teacher who can lead our Music department to new heights.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Music Teacher at Sukriti World School, your primary responsibility will be to teach Music to students from Class 6 to 12. Some of the key duties include:
- Designing and implementing Music curriculum in line with CBSE guidelines
- Preparing students for Music board exams
- Conducting Music performances and events
- Maintaining discipline and order in the classroom
- Collaborating with other Music teachers to plan and deliver Music lessons
- Evaluating student progress and providing feedback
- Maintaining student records and attendance
- Participating in school events and activities
- Performing administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this post, you should have:
- A B.Ed degree in Music or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- A good working knowledge of Music curriculum and pedagogy
- TET or CTET qualification is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
