Role Summary
Prabhu Dayal Public School in Kanjhawala, North West Delhi, Delhi seeks an experienced Physics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to students from classes IX to XII. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for Physics.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver Physics lessons to classes IX to XII, following the CBSE curriculum.
2. Prepare and administer regular assessments and exams to evaluate student progress.
3. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding.
4. Provide individualized attention and support to students who require extra help.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement departmental plans and policies.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
7. Participate in school events and activities, such as science fairs and workshops.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments in Physics and incorporate them into the curriculum.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Physics (M.Sc.) or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- NET/SET in Physics or a related field is desirable.
- Experience in teaching Physics in a CBSE-affiliated school.
Good to Have
- Experience in teaching Physics to classes IX to XII.
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
