Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Zoology lessons for classes IX to XII, integrating modern teaching aids and real‑time case studies.
- Plan and conduct laboratory experiments, field excursions, and wildlife observation sessions that align with the school curriculum.
- Assess student progress through tests, projects, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty to develop interdisciplinary projects linking Zoology with Biology, Environmental Science, and Physical Education.
- Maintain accurate attendance, report cards, and academic records in accordance with school policies.
- Mentor junior teachers and support professional development workshops focused on contemporary Zoology teaching methods.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Zoology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
- Strong command over scientific terminology and ability to translate complex concepts into student‑friendly language.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia tools for interactive learning.
