Job Overview
Yuvashakti Model School in Rohini, North West Delhi, Delhi is seeking a qualified TGT Biology Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from 6th to 10th standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Biology lessons to students from 6th to 10th standard
- Prepare and administer periodic assessments to evaluate student performance
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Utilize various teaching methods to promote conceptual understanding and critical thinking
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Biology curriculum
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Participate in school activities and events to promote Biology education
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Biology or related field (M.Sc, M.A.)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- CTET/TET certification is not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Biology to students from 6th to 10th standard
Good to Have
- NET/SET certification in Biology
- Experience in teaching Biology to students with special needs
- Familiarity with Biology curriculum and assessment standards
