Key Responsibilities
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE Chemistry syllabus for grades 6 to 10.
Conduct simple yet effective lab experiments using low-cost materials available in North West Delhi.
Administer short quizzes and monthly tests to identify learning gaps in stoichiometry and acids.
Use visual aids, models, and analogies to explain chemical bonding to visual and kinesthetic learners.
Collaborate with TGT Science colleagues to share best practices for differentiated instruction.
Provide remedial sessions after school for students needing extra help with numerical problems.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and share progress with parents during PTMs.
Participate in periodic subject enrichment activities organized by Prabhu Dayal Public School.
Eligibility
Postgraduate degree in Chemistry with minimum 50% marks.
B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification recognized by NCTE.
Two years of full-time Chemistry Teaching Job in North West Delhi preferred.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns in Delhi schools.
Ability to communicate clearly in Hindi and English in a classroom setting.
Preferred Skills
Patience to repeat explanations for students who take time to absorb chemical concepts.
Strong classroom management to handle mixed-ability groups in Kanjhawala.
