Prepare lab materials, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot technical issues to keep experiments running smoothly. Engage with students through group discussions and quizzes to boost their interest in chemistry beyond textbooks.

Teach students from Class 9 to 12, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning levels. Use visual aids like models, diagrams, and digital simulations to make complex topics easier to understand. Stay updated on new teaching techniques and curriculum changes to improve lesson effectiveness.

Assist in organizing school events like science fairs, workshops, and competitions where chemistry can be showcased. Provide feedback to students on their assignments and exams to help them improve. Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude to build trust with students and parents alike.

Coordinate with the principal and administrative staff to ensure all teaching materials and resources are available. Attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Ensure all records of student performance, attendance, and conduct are accurately maintained.

Teach chemistry with a focus on sustainability, discussing topics like green chemistry and environmental impact in a way that resonates with students. Foster a love for chemistry by making lessons relevant to their daily lives. Work closely with the school’s science department to integrate chemistry with other subjects like biology and mathematics.

The ideal candidate will have completed a postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. The salary for this TGT Chemistry Teacher role at Rukmini Devi Public School in Rohini, North West Delhi, is Rs.22,000 to Rs.40,000 per month.
