What You Will Do
- Teach History to students from 6th to 10th standard, focusing on conceptual understanding, assessments, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement History curriculum that aligns with CBSE guidelines and Prabhu Dayal Public School's academic policies.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide updates on academic performance.
- Organize and lead History-related activities, such as field trips, debates, and quizzes, to promote critical thinking and creativity.
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning, such as educational apps and digital resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assignments.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and programs that promote academic excellence and community engagement.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A postgraduate degree in History (M.A.) with a valid B.Ed. degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in History, preferably in a CBSE school.
- A strong understanding of History curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
