About This Role
K-iit World School in Rohini, North West Delhi, Delhi invites applications for a highly experienced TGT Mathematics Teacher who can take on a senior leadership role in our Mathematics department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving curriculum innovation, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to school-wide academic goals.
Day-to-Day Duties
* Develop and implement engaging Mathematics curriculum for students from Class 6 to 10
* Teach Mathematics to students in the classroom and provide additional support as needed
* Collaborate with colleagues to align Mathematics curriculum with school-wide academic objectives
* Mentor junior staff members to enhance their teaching skills and confidence
* Conduct regular assessments and analyze results to improve Mathematics teaching and learning
* Develop and implement remedial plans for struggling students
* Contribute to the development of Mathematics department policies and procedures
* Participate in school-wide events and activities to promote Mathematics education
* Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress
* Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education and incorporate these into the curriculum
Eligibility Criteria
* B.Ed and D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
* Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics
* NET or SET in Mathematics is preferred but not essential
* Strong understanding of Mathematics curriculum and assessment
