Job Overview
Our Maxfort School in Rohini, North West Delhi, Delhi, is seeking a qualified TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our Mathematics Teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from class 6 to 10 and contributing to the school's Mathematics curriculum development.
What You Will Do
- Teach Mathematics to students from class 6 to 10, following the school's curriculum and assessment guidelines.
- Prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student understanding and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum plans and assessments.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in Mathematics teaching.
- Engage with parents and guardians to promote student learning and address any concerns.
- Participate in school activities, such as Mathematics Olympiads and competitions, to foster a sense of community and competition.
- Develop and implement extra-curricular Mathematics activities, such as problem-solving clubs and workshops.
- Contribute to the development of Mathematics resources and materials for the school.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Eligibility
Applicants must possess a post-graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field. A B.Ed. degree or D.El.Ed. is preferred. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Mathematics to students from class 6 to 10. Knowledge of the Delhi syllabus and experience in preparing students for Mathematics Olympiads is an added advantage.
