Role Summary
We need a TGT Music Teacher in North West Delhi, Delhi who can blend classical notation with digital tools for Grades 6 to 10. Experience in designing vocal and instrumental modules for middle-school learners is essential. Familiarity with Hindustani and Western music forms is preferred.
How You Will Teach
Classes at Modern Public School run on smart boards with embedded audio samples and interactive pitch trainers. Google Classroom is used for weekly assignments, sheet uploads, and peer feedback on compositions. The school LMS hosts curated playlists, theory quizzes, and video recitals for blended revision.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare lesson plans aligned with NCERT music syllabus for Grades 6-10 at Modern Public School.
Operate digital keyboards and audio interfaces during practical sessions in the music lab.
Upload weekly practice tracks, sheet music, and assessment rubrics on Google Classroom.
Conduct blended revision sessions using pre-loaded LMS content before periodic tests.
Run 30-minute ensemble rehearsals twice a week with tablet-based tuners and metronomes.
Collaborate with the art department to choreograph annual day performances using digital editing tools.
Assess students through online theory quizzes and practical video submissions.
Coordinate with IT staff to maintain the music lab’s speakers, instruments, and cloud storage.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Music (Hindustani/Western) with a minimum of three years teaching experience.
B.Ed or M.Ed from a recognized Indian university.
Proficiency in handling digital audio workstations and smart classroom tools is mandatory.
Experience with LMS platforms and Google Classroom is preferred.
