About This Role
Maxfort School in Rohini, North West Delhi, is looking for a TGT Physical Education Teacher to handle classes 6 to 10. The role involves planning daily physical activities, conducting fitness drills, and organizing inter-house sports events. You will also coordinate with sports coaches and monitor student participation across the session.
What You Will Do
Plan age-appropriate physical education lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines.
Organize daily warm-up, skill drills, and cooldown sessions for all grades.
Conduct health and fitness assessments for students twice a year.
Prepare students for CBSE sports meets and district-level tournaments.
Set up and maintain sports equipment in the playground and indoor courts.
Collaborate with yoga and aerobics instructors for holistic fitness programs.
Document attendance, progress, and incident reports in school ERP.
Attend staff meetings and parent-teacher interactions on sports performance.
Eligibility
Must Have
Graduation in Physical Education or B.P.Ed from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in middle or secondary school.
Familiarity with CBSE sports curriculum and assessment formats.
Good to Have
D.El.Ed or B.Ed with Physical Education specialization.
Experience in organizing school sports days or inter-school competitions.
