Responsibilities
- Design and deliver curriculum‑aligned lesson plans for Social Science subjects across grades 6 to 10.
- Integrate local history and current affairs to make learning relevant to students in Rohini and surrounding areas.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, projects, and class participation, providing constructive feedback.
- Organize and facilitate field trips to museums, historical sites, and civic institutions to enhance experiential learning.
- Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary activities that link Social Science with other subjects.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson logs, and performance reports in line with school policies.
- Mentor junior teachers and support new TGTs in adapting to the school’s teaching methodologies.
- Participate in school meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, and community outreach programs.
- Stay updated with educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching tools and resources.
Qualification, experience, salary, location
Post‑graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Salary range Rs.25,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. Position located in Rohini, North West Delhi, under the auspices of Shri Ram Shiksha Mandir Sr Sec School | Jindpur.
