Job Description
We offer a senior-level TGT Yoga Teacher Job in North West Delhi, Delhi, opportunity to lead and grow with Modern Public School in Kanjhawala, North West Delhi, Delhi. As a TGT Yoga Teacher or potential Head of Department, you will oversee the Yoga department's curriculum, mentor junior staff, and drive academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and effective Yoga lesson plans for students from 6th to 10th standard, aligning with CBSE curriculum and Modern Public School's academic goals.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to track student progress and performance in Yoga.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement co-curricular activities that promote holistic development and well-being.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, including TGT and PGT Yoga teachers, to enhance their teaching skills and subject knowledge.
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events, such as Yoga festivals, awareness campaigns, and health fairs.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and research in Yoga education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Oversee the maintenance of Yoga equipment, resources, and facilities to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Eligibility
To be considered for this role, you must have a B.Ed degree, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Yoga. A NET or SET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
