Role Summary
What You Will Do
- Teach Physical Education to students from Class VI to Class XII, creating engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement school-wide events and activities.
- Supervise students during physical education classes and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Develop and maintain a physical education library of resources, including books, videos, and equipment.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in Physical Education teaching.
- Communicate with parents and students through regular progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must have a strong background in Physical Education, with a postgraduate degree in the subject. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching positions in our school. Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification. A minimum of three years of teaching experience is necessary, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality physical education programs.
