What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging Science lessons for students in grades 6-8
- Foster a love of Science among students, encouraging them to explore and learn through hands-on activities
- Engage with parents through regular parent-teacher meetings and updates
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Science curriculum
- Participate in school events and activities, showcasing the work of students
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations
- Provide support and guidance to students who require additional help
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in Science education and incorporate new ideas into the classroom
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need a graduate degree in Science or a related field, with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification. Prior experience teaching Science in a school setting is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
