Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated TGT English Teacher to join our teaching team at The Samarth School. As a TGT English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the linguistic and literary skills of our students, fostering a love for English language and literature. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the academic growth and development of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons to students from Classes VI to X.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and The Samarth School's academic policies.
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster a love for English language and literature among students, encouraging them to explore and appreciate various literary genres.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that promote holistic learning.
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other activities to enhance professional growth and contribute to school development.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in English. A post-graduate degree in English literature is preferable. At least 3 years of experience in teaching English at the upper primary level is required. CTET/TET certification is desirable but not mandatory.
