Role Summary
The role is for a full-time PGT English Teacher in South Delhi, Delhi at Dps International. Experience of at least 3 years in teaching English at the senior secondary level is required. The position is open for post graduates with B.Ed qualification.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for classes 9 to 12 following the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare students for board exams and competitive assessments with structured practice sessions.
Organize literary activities, debates, and creative writing competitions to enhance language skills.
Use modern teaching aids and digital resources to make lessons interactive and effective.
Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and project work.
Collaborate with subject teachers to align lesson plans and share best practices.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and academic planning sessions.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in English with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from a NCTE recognized institution.
Preference will be given to candidates with CTET or TET certification.
Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential.
Experience in teaching English at the senior secondary level is mandatory.
