Your Students
You will teach Grades 9 to 12 students preparing for CBSE exams. The class includes curious learners from diverse backgrounds in Saket and nearby areas. Many students aim for competitive exams alongside board results, so balanced guidance is essential.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver English lessons aligned with CBSE syllabus and exam patterns. Emphasize grammar, literature, writing skills, and spoken English for board and competitive contexts.
Conduct regular assessments including unit tests, mock exams, and viva voce to track progress. Provide timely feedback and remedial support to improve scores and confidence.
Organize literature circles, debates, elocution, and creative writing competitions to build language skills beyond textbooks. Encourage participation from all sections of the class.
Use audio-visual aids, online resources, and digital tools to make lessons engaging. Share curated reading lists and podcasts to widen literary exposure.
Prepare students for board exams with focused writing practice, reading comprehension drills, and literature analysis. Maintain updated teaching plans and records as per school norms.
Collaborate with subject teachers to align lesson plans and share best practices. Attend department meetings and contribute to curriculum enrichment.
Mentor students during PTMs and academic counseling sessions. Address parent queries with clarity and empathy.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in English with minimum 55% marks. B.Ed/D.El.Ed mandatory. Two years of full-time English teaching experience in Grades 9 to 12. Preference for candidates familiar with CBSE English Core and Elective syllabi.
Skills We Value
Strong command over spoken and written English with clear pronunciation. Ability to simplify complex literary texts for adolescent learners.
