About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified PGT Psychology Teacher to join our faculty at Dps International. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology to students at the plus two level and will be expected to contribute to the development of our Psychology curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and deliver lessons to students at the plus two level, using a range of teaching methods and resources to engage and challenge learners.
2. Develop and implement the Psychology curriculum, in collaboration with other faculty members and the school administration.
3. Assess student learning and progress, using a range of assessment methods and tools to inform teaching and learning.
4. Provide feedback and guidance to students, to help them achieve their academic potential.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver integrated learning experiences that promote holistic development.
6. Participate in school events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings, curriculum reviews, and professional development workshops.
7. Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of Psychology, and incorporate relevant research and best practices into teaching and learning.
8. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, using the school's management information system.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
* Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
* Three years of teaching experience in a school setting
* Strong knowledge of the Psychology syllabus and curriculum
* Excellent teaching and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
* Passion for teaching and learning, and commitment to academic excellence
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.50,000 - Rs.90,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Other benefits include medical insurance, provident fund, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
