Role introduction
Amity International School | Saket is looking for a TGT Political Science Teacher to join its dynamic faculty in South Delhi. The role involves delivering engaging lessons to students in grades 8 to 10, fostering analytical thinking and civic awareness.
Core responsibilities
Plan and execute lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, ensuring clarity of concepts in political theory, governance, and public policy. Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback. Participate in school committees, parent‑teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities that promote political literacy.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred for teaching positions; TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but an advantage. Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary political issues and ability to integrate them into classroom discussions.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting, preferably with exposure to diverse student groups. Proven track record of creating interactive learning environments and encouraging student participation in debates and model‑UN activities.
Salary and location
Competitive salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month. Full‑time position based in Saket, South Delhi, Delhi.
