About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified PGT Business Studies Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to students in grades 11 and 12, and will also be expected to contribute to the development of the curriculum, assessment strategies, and teaching methodologies.
What You Will Do
- Plan, deliver, and assess Business Studies lessons to students in grades 11 and 12
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and promote critical thinking
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs
- Contribute to the school's academic and extracurricular programs
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Participate in school events and activities to promote a positive school culture
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- TET or CTET certification is preferred, but not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Business Studies
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
