Role Summary
Dev Samaj Modern School invites applications for a full-time TGT Hindi Teacher vacancy in South East Delhi. The role involves planning and delivering Hindi language classes for middle-school students while nurturing their love for literature, grammar, and creative writing. You will work closely with the Hindi department to align lessons with CBSE guidelines and the school’s own monthly themes such as ‘Bal Geet’ or ‘Kahani Varta’.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and teach Hindi lessons for Grades VI to VIII, using activity-based methods that include chhand parichay, kahani lekhan, and natak lekhan.
Prepare weekly lesson plans and resource sheets in Hindi, ensuring coverage of grammar, prose, poetry, and writing skills.
Assess students through periodic tests, assignments, and oral examinations, recording progress in the school’s digital register.
Organize Hindi recitation competitions, story-telling sessions, and wall-magazine contributions every month.
Collaborate with the Hindi department to create common question banks and model answer keys aligned to CBSE standards.
Attend staff meetings and departmental reviews to share classroom insights and new teaching aids.
Maintain classroom discipline and hygiene, ensuring the Hindi lab corner stays organized with flashcards and storybooks.
Guide students preparing for inter-school Hindi elocution and essay writing contests.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Hindi with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Hindi as a teaching subject.
Two years of full-time teaching experience in Hindi at middle-school level.
CTET/TET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Fluency in spoken and written Hindi, including familiarity with Delhi’s common Hindi dialects.
Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary between Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000 based on qualifications and experience.
