Role Summary

How You Will Teach
You will plan lessons using Google Classroom and the school’s LMS to upload video drills, animated play diagrams, and quiz links on rules and fitness. Smart boards in the sports hall display slow-motion replays and heart-rate data during conditioning circuits. Students submit practice logs through the LMS and receive instant feedback on technique corrections. Parent portals show attendance, skill progress, and upcoming fixture schedules automatically.
What You Will Do
Prepare weekly lesson plans in the LMS that align with N. K. Bagrodia Public School’s sports curriculum and include video demonstrations for each skill.
Use smart boards to break down game situations, overlay player movement paths, and run digital whiteboard drills with the squad.
Operate wearable fitness bands during practices to track heart rate, step count, and recovery time, then export reports for parent-teacher meetings.
Maintain a digital portfolio of every student’s skill progression using video uploads and skill-rating checklists in the LMS.
Conduct live-streamed practice sessions once a week for absent students or for parents who wish to observe training remotely.
Organise inter-house and inter-school basketball tournaments using online registration forms, live scoreboards, and automated whatsapp updates.
Integrate data from practice sessions into the school’s central analytics dashboard to identify common technique gaps and adjust training focus.
Coordinate with the IT department to troubleshoot smart board, projector, and LMS issues during sessions to minimise downtime.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science. A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience coaching basketball at school or club level is required.
