A Mathematics teaching position is available at Delhi English Academy in Dwarka, South West Delhi. The role is for a Non‑Teaching Teacher (NTT) who will support classroom instruction and student learning in the mathematics stream.
Role Responsibilities
The NTT Mathematics Teacher will collaborate with senior teachers to design and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, assisting with classroom management, and providing individual or group support to students who need extra help. The teacher will also track student progress, maintain accurate attendance and performance records, and participate in school meetings and professional development sessions. Regular interaction with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and strategies for improvement is an essential part of the role.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a graduate degree and possess a minimum of two years of teaching experience in mathematics. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is required, while TET or CTET certification is not mandatory. The ideal applicant will have a strong command of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, student‑friendly manner. Experience in a school setting and a collaborative attitude are essential.
