Job Overview

We are looking for a Post Graduate Trained (PGT) Accountancy Teacher for Classes XI and XII at Sachdeva Global School. The role involves teaching Accountancy to senior secondary students and preparing them for CBSE board exams. Minimum three years of teaching experience in Accountancy at the senior secondary level is required. Fluency in English and Hindi is necessary, with familiarity in local Delhi-NCR classroom dynamics preferred.

What You Will Do

1. Plan and deliver high-quality Accountancy lessons for Classes XI and XII as per CBSE curriculum.
2. Prepare students thoroughly for board examinations with regular tests and practice papers.
3. Use modern teaching aids like smart boards, Excel-based accounting tools, and case studies.
4. Guide students in choosing commerce streams after school and career options in CA, CS, or finance.
5. Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment data for each student.
6. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Accountancy.
7. Organize inter-house and inter-school commerce quizzes and accounting competitions.
8. Mentor junior Accountancy teachers and assist in departmental academic planning.
9. Participate in school events such as annual day, sports day, and subject-specific fairs.

Eligibility

Must Have

- Postgraduate degree in Commerce with Accountancy as a major subject
- B.Ed or M.Ed degree from a recognized Indian university
- Minimum three years of teaching Accountancy at senior secondary level
- Sound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and GST provisions
- Experience with CBSE board exam pattern and marking schemes

Good to Have

- NET or SET qualified in Commerce
- Experience in preparing students for CA Foundation entrance
- Familiarity with ERP software like Tally or Zoho Books
- Background in financial literacy or entrepreneurship programs
- Participation in CBSE capacity-building programs for teachers
