Day-to-Day Duties

- Prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in Classes 11 and 12
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students who need extra help
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and activities that promote academic excellence and student well-being
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and set goals
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Geography and incorporate them into your teaching practice

Eligibility

- Master's degree in Geography or a related subject with a B.Ed. degree
- Post-graduate qualification in Education (M.Ed.) is preferred
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a senior secondary school
- Strong knowledge of Geography and its applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive school culture

Preferred Skills

- Experience in teaching Geography to students in Classes 11 and 12
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
