PGT History Teacher Job in South West Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
Delhi Public School | Vasant Kunj is looking for a full‑time PGT History teacher for its Kapashera campus in South West Delhi. The role involves delivering the History curriculum to senior classes and contributing to the school’s academic environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging History lessons for classes IX to XII, following the prescribed syllabus.
- Assess student performance through tests, projects and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in department meetings, school events and parent‑teacher interactions as required.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and lesson plans.
Eligibility
- Minimum post‑graduate degree in History or a related discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
- TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary
- Rs.45,000 – Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
