About This Role

Sachdeva Global School in Dwarka, South West Delhi, is seeking an experienced and skilled PGT Psychology Teacher to join our faculty. As a senior educator, you will be responsible for teaching Psychology to students of Classes XI and XII, and will also be required to take on additional responsibilities such as curriculum leadership, board exam coaching, and mentoring junior teachers.

Day-to-Day Duties

- Teach Psychology to students of Classes XI and XII, and prepare them for the CBSE Boards
- Lead the curriculum development and implementation for Psychology in the school
- Coach students for CBSE Boards, including preparation for practical and theory exams
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on teaching methodologies and subject matter expertise
- Participate in academic planning and coordination with other departments
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance in Psychology
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, and ensure effective teaching and learning
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students
- Foster a learning environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity

Who Can Apply

To be considered for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in Psychology (M.A. or M.Sc.) or a related field, with a B.Ed. degree from a recognized university. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, with a proven track record of teaching Psychology to students of Classes XI and XII. While a TET or CTET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred. You should be well-versed in the CBSE curriculum and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
