TGT Music Teacher Job in South West Delhi, Delhi
Role Summary
Shreeram World School seeks a dedicated TGT Music Teacher to lead middle and secondary classes from grades 6 to 10 in Dwarka, South West Delhi. The role focuses on nurturing musical aptitude, fostering ensemble skills, and aligning lessons with CBSE music curriculum. You will plan weekly practical and theoretical sessions that include vocal training, instrumental exposure, and rhythmic exercises tailored to adolescent learners.
Key Responsibilities
Design weekly lesson plans covering Hindustani and Western music traditions
Conduct daily vocal and instrumental practice for groups and individuals
Assess student progress through periodic practical tests and theory quizzes
Organize school choir, orchestra, and annual cultural events at Shreeram World School
Collaborate with art and dance faculty for inter-disciplinary projects
Maintain instruments, inventory, and safety protocols in the music room
Communicate progress to parents during PTMs and through written feedback
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum enrichment
Eligibility
Must Have
Post-graduate degree in Music (M.A./M.Sc) with minimum 55% marks
B.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification
2 years classroom teaching experience in Music Teacher Vacancy in South West Delhi or Delhi
Fluency in Hindi and English with clear communication skills
Good to Have
CTET/TET qualified
Experience with CBSE music syllabus and assessment patterns
Proficiency in playing at least two instruments (keyboard, guitar, tabla)
Participation in national or state-level music competitions as performer or mentor
