Job Overview
Delhi English Academy in Dwarka, South West Delhi is looking for a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to join its full‑time faculty. The role focuses on delivering engaging social science lessons to students in a dynamic school environment, fostering critical thinking and civic awareness.
Responsibilities
The teacher will plan and execute lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring that concepts in history, geography, political science and economics are presented clearly and interactively. Classroom management, assessment of student progress, and the use of varied instructional materials are key aspects of the daily routine. Collaboration with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and participation in school events and extracurricular activities are also expected.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a post‑graduate degree in any field and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While a TET or CTET certificate is not mandatory, it is considered an advantage for applicants who have pursued additional teaching credentials.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. Experience in delivering social science content to middle or high school students will be highly regarded. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to create an inclusive learning environment and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learner needs.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
