Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic NTT Mathematics Teacher to join our team at St. Marks World School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from Class VI to XII, and will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our students. As a Mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to students who require extra help.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Mathematics lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Teach Mathematics to students from Class VI to XII, and assess their progress through regular tests and evaluations
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help, and offer guidance and feedback to students who need it
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curricula that align with the school's academic goals
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of Mathematics-related activities and events
- Use technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience for our students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in Mathematics education, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of Mathematics-related resources and materials for our students
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you should have a graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field, and a valid B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree. You should also have at least 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting, and be familiar with the curriculum and teaching methods used in Indian schools. While experience with TET/CTET is not essential, it is preferred.
