About This Role
Lt. Col. Mehar Little Angels Sr. Sec. School is seeking an experienced and skilled PGT Chemistry Teacher to lead our Chemistry department. Day-to-Day Duties
As PGT Chemistry Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing an engaging Chemistry curriculum for Classes IX-XII
- Conducting regular classes and workshops to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Mentoring junior Chemistry teachers to enhance their subject knowledge and teaching skills
- Preparing students for Chemistry board exams by developing and conducting practice sessions
- Analyzing student performance data to inform teaching strategies and improve board results
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and themes
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievements
- Participating in school-wide events and activities to promote a culture of academic excellence
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc) with a valid B.Ed/D.El.Ed certification
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- A strong background in Chemistry pedagogy, curriculum design, and assessment
- Preference will be given to candidates with a NET/SET qualification in Chemistry
