- Analyze and improve student performance in Legal Studies, working closely with the department head to implement strategies for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, workshops, and training programs for teachers, parents, and students on legal topics.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate Legal Studies with other subjects, fostering a holistic learning experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law firms, courts, and other legal institutions to provide students with real-world exposure and opportunities.
- Participate in school committees, contributing to policy-making and decision-making processes.
- Represent the school in various academic and extracurricular activities, promoting the school's reputation and values.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree (LL.M or M.A) in Legal Studies or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed will be accepted. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Legal Studies, preferably at the senior secondary level, is required. NET or SET qualification is preferred but not essential.
