PGT Legal Studies Teacher Job in West Delhi, Delhi
About This Role
Sri Venkateshwar International School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi invites applications for the post of PGT Legal Studies Teacher. Key Responsibilities
- Teach Legal Studies to senior secondary students, including preparing and delivering lessons, and assessing student progress.
- Prepare students for board exams, including setting exam papers and providing guidance on exam preparation.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, such as online resources and educational software.
- Provide career guidance to students, helping them to make informed choices about their future.
- Work with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans and policies.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings and career fairs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Eligibility
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Law or related field (LL.B. or M.A. in Law)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. in Education
- CTET is not mandatory but desirable
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Legal Studies to senior secondary students
Good to Have:
- NET or SET in Education or related field
- Experience in teaching in international or national curriculum schools
- Knowledge of curriculum frameworks and assessment methods
- Familiarity with technology-based teaching and learning
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
