Job Title: PGT Physical Education Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physical Education to join our team at a reputable Tier 1 school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students in grades 6-12, and will contribute to the academic and personal development of our students.
Work Environment:
- Student-teacher ratio: 25:1
- Class size: 30 students per class
- Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field from a recognized university
- Post Graduate degree in Physical Education or related field from a recognized university
- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) certification
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a recognized school
Performance Expectations:
- Maintain a student pass percentage of 90% or higher in Physical Education
- Increase student participation in sports and activities by 20% within the first 6 months of joining
- Conduct a minimum of 2 training sessions per week for students
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum for grades 6-12
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physical Education to students in grades 6-12
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive Physical Education program
- Participate in school events and activities, including sports competitions and festivals
Salary and Compensation:
- Basic salary: Rs. 50,000 per month
- DA (Dearness Allowance): 10% of basic salary
- HRA (House Rent Allowance): 5% of basic salary
- Medical insurance: provided by the school
