Maharaja Agrasen Model School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi is seeking an experienced PGT Social Science Teacher to lead our senior secondary social science department. As a seasoned educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape of our school.
What You Will Do
As a PGT Social Science Teacher at Maharaja Agrasen Model School, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and interactive social science lessons to senior secondary students, focusing on board exam preparation and curriculum leadership.
- Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Providing expert guidance to junior teachers and peers on social science pedagogy and best practices.
- Collaborating with colleagues to improve academic performance and student outcomes.
- Coordinating and preparing students for social science practical exams and assessments.
- Conducting regular parent-teacher meetings to address student progress and concerns.
- Contributing to departmental planning, resource allocation, and academic coordination.
- Mentoring students to excel in social science competitions, quizzes, and debates.
- Participating in school development programs, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress.
Eligibility
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject (M.A./M.Sc.) along with a B.Ed. degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a senior secondary school, is required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
