Role Summary
How You Will Teach (smart boards, Google Classroom, LMS, blended learning)
As a PGT Sociology Teacher at Tegh Bahadur 3rd Centenary Public School, you will be expected to use smart boards, Google Classroom, Learning Management System (LMS), and blended learning techniques to engage students and enhance their learning experience. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining online resources, assignments, and assessments using digital tools.
What You Will Do (include tech integration duties — 8 items)
- Teach Sociology to senior secondary students, including theory and practical classes
- Prepare and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
- Use digital tools to create online resources, assignments, and assessments
- Integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance student learning
- Develop and maintain online resources, including e-books, videos, and multimedia content
- Use digital tools to track student progress, attendance, and performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide academic plans
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on technology integration and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sociology or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Teaching experience of at least 3 years
- Strong knowledge of Sociology curriculum and pedagogy
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology integration in the classroom
