About Gd Goenka Public School | Mundka

Teaching at GD Goenka Public School, Punjabi Bagh, feels like being part of a living laboratory where ideas are tested every day. The campus spreads across a well‑maintained plot in West Delhi, and each air‑conditioned classroom is equipped with interactive boards that make lessons feel immediate. Beyond the standard facilities, we have a robotics lab humming with students building their first machines, a 3‑D printing studio where concepts leap from screen to solid form, and a visual‑arts space that smells of fresh paint. The sports grounds are never empty, and the 100 percent power and water backup means we never have to pause for an outage. All of this creates a backdrop where teachers can focus on the work rather than on logistics.

Our students come from a broad slice of the city, but they share a curiosity that makes the teaching day unpredictable in the best way. In the foundation years, you’ll find children who love to explore through hands‑on projects—building simple circuits or turning stories into small plays. By the time they reach senior secondary, they are more goal‑oriented, often juggling board exam preparation with leadership roles in clubs or community service. The mix of eager beginners and driven teenagers keeps the curriculum lively; you’ll be asked to shift from guiding a group through a basic science experiment to facilitating a rigorous debate on a current affairs topic in the same week.

A typical day begins with a quick team huddle in the staff room, where we share updates on student progress and plan any cross‑subject activities. Lessons run in blocks that allow for both focused instruction and longer project periods, especially in the labs. After class, you’ll likely spend a few minutes in the counseling corner, helping a student refine a project proposal or offering feedback on a draft essay. The school encourages teachers to experiment with blended learning, so you’ll often find yourself integrating online resources with the hands‑on work happening in the labs. The senior teachers are supportive, and the administration is quick to provide any material or training you need.

What sets GD Goenka apart is the sense that every staff member is trusted to shape not just academic outcomes but also the character of the young people who walk through the gates. The CBSE framework gives us a clear structure, yet the school’s own emphasis on real‑world application means you
