Our students in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, come from diverse backgrounds and have varying learning levels. You will be teaching students from Class VI to X, and your role will be to create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported. You will be working with students who have different learning styles, abilities, and English proficiency levels.
Day-to-Day Duties (differentiated instruction, support for all learners)
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to students with different learning levels
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, group discussions, and hands-on activities to make learning fun and interactive
- Conduct periodic assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum-aligned projects
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress
- Develop and implement strategies to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A post-graduate degree in Biology with B.Ed. or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Biology at the middle school or secondary school level
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
