Senior Hindi Department Role
Kamal Public Sr. Sec. School in Patel Nagar is expanding its Hindi department and invites an experienced TGT Hindi Teacher to step into a leadership role. The position carries responsibility for daily classroom instruction as well as department-level planning in a full-time, permanent role.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver TGT Hindi lessons for grades 6 to 10, aligning with CBSE guidelines and Kamal Public’s academic calendar. Design assessments, worksheets, and model answers that prepare students for class tests and board examinations.
Monitor student progress through regular notebook checks and oral evaluations, identifying weak areas early and communicating concerns to parents during PTMs in Patel Nagar. Conduct remedial sessions after school hours when needed.
Collaborate with the Hindi department to create monthly teaching plans, share resources, and standardize evaluation patterns across sections. Assist in setting question papers and moderating answer scripts for internal assessments.
Mentor two to three junior Hindi teachers through classroom observations, feedback sessions, and co-planning of lessons. Organize department meetings every fortnight to discuss pedagogy, new books, and digital tools.
Analyze past board results in Hindi and propose targeted interventions for improvement in the next academic session. Represent the Hindi department in staff meetings and school events such as Hindi Divas celebrations.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Hindi with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for this TGT Hindi Teacher vacancy in West Delhi. NET or SET in Hindi will be preferred during selection.
Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in Hindi for grades 6 to 10, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school. Familiarity with NEP 2020 language policy and Delhi government’s Hindi promotion initiatives is an advantage.
CTET is not compulsory for this role, though candidates with CTET Hindi will be given preference. Knowledge of Hindi grammar, literature, and creative writing for school-level curriculum is essential.
