About This Role
As a senior Mathematics department role within K.r. Mangalam World School, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and leadership development. With the potential to become the Head of Department, you will play a key role in shaping the Mathematics curriculum and mentoring junior staff.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement Mathematics curriculum aligned with CBSE norms and K.r. Mangalam World School's academic objectives
- Teach Mathematics to students of various age groups, including classes VI to X
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Mentor junior Mathematics teachers and guide them in lesson planning and teaching
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated curriculum
- Prepare and review Mathematics textbooks, workbooks, and other educational materials
- Organize and conduct Mathematics fairs, competitions, and other extracurricular activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote Mathematics education and improve student outcomes
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education and incorporate innovative approaches into teaching practices
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics (M.Sc.) or Mathematics Education
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with a strong background in Mathematics education
- CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory
