Mathematics (TGT) Vacancy in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, Delhi
New Delhi Public School
Job Description
At New Delhi Public School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi, you will teach in a well-resourced environment where Mathematics is celebrated not just as a subject but as a way to sharpen logical thinking across grades VI to X. The school maintains small class sizes so every TGT Mathematics Teacher gets to know each student’s strengths and gaps in topics like algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. You will be part of a close-knit faculty that meets weekly to align lesson plans and share classroom strategies specific to CBSE Mathematics syllabus.
What Sets Us Apart
New Delhi Public School runs a Mathematics Lab where students explore concepts through puzzles and digital tools, giving you ready-made stations to supplement textbook lessons. Every term, we host inter-house Math Quizzes judged by external experts, so you get to collaborate with colleagues and see students apply what you teach in real time. The school invests in continuous professional development; last year, teachers attended workshops on Vedic Math techniques and CBSE’s latest assessment patterns.
Role Summary
As the TGT Mathematics Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons for classes VI to X, ensuring coverage of CBSE chapters while aligning with the school’s emphasis on conceptual clarity. You will set and evaluate term-end examinations and surprise class tests, providing timely feedback that feeds directly into mid-term remedial sessions. Parent interactions every fortnight keep you connected with each learner’s progress in Number Systems, Mensuration, and Statistics.
