Role Summary
The TGT Social Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching Social Science subjects to students of classes 6 to 10. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver Social Science lessons to students of classes 6 to 10
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver curriculum
- Participate in school events and activities
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field, and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification. Experience of teaching Social Science subjects to students of classes 6 to 10 is essential. A TET or CTET certification is desirable but not necessary.
Salary and Benefits
