About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Counsellor to join our premium school in Ahmedabad, Ahemdabad, Gujarat. As an Academic Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to students, teachers, and parents in achieving academic excellence. Your role will involve guiding students in their academic and personal development, and ensuring they meet their full potential.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Providing academic guidance and support to students
2. Developing and implementing individualized learning plans
3. Conducting regular progress meetings with students and parents
4. Facilitating workshops and seminars on academic and personal development
5. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement
6. Collaborating with teachers and other staff members
7. Developing and maintaining relationships with parents and guardians
8. Participating in school events and activities
9. Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- A postgraduate degree in any field (M.A., M.Sc., MBA, etc.)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Good to Have:
- A B.Ed or M.Ed degree
- Experience in school administration or leadership
- Knowledge of the State Board of Gujarat curriculum
- Familiarity with TET/CTET qualifications (although not required)
- Proficiency in Hindi and/or Gujarati languages
