This role requires expertise in teaching advanced botany concepts aligned with NEET syllabus while fostering critical thinking and practical skills.
You will design and deliver engaging lectures covering plant physiology, genetics, ecology, and biotechnology—key topics for NEET aspirants. Daily classroom instruction must balance theoretical knowledge with hands-on experiments, ensuring students grasp complex concepts effectively. Prepare and grade weekly assignments, quizzes, and unit tests to assess progress and provide constructive feedback. Develop and implement interactive teaching methods like case studies, group discussions, and real-world applications to enhance engagement.
Collaborate with the science faculty to create integrated lesson plans that align with Career Point Center’s curriculum standards. Attend regular faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies, exam patterns, and student performance trends. Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, lab equipment, and digital learning materials, to support both in-person and virtual instruction. Ensure all lab safety protocols are followed during practical sessions, especially when handling plant tissues, microscopes, and chemical solutions.
Assist in organizing and participating in NEET preparation workshops, mock tests, and revision sessions to boost student confidence. Keep detailed records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations to report to parents and administration. Prepare and submit monthly progress reports highlighting student achievements, areas needing improvement, and recommendations for further support.
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field with at least four years of teaching experience, preferably in competitive exam coaching or high school science. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, though TET/CTET certification is not required. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 130,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic learning environment in Ghatlodiya, Ahemdabad.
